About the Arts Center

The Creative Arts Center is a non-profit community space for promoting, supporting and presenting the creative arts in Carroll County.

The Experience

The Carroll County Creative Arts Center (CCCAC) is located at the historic Hale Wilkinson Carter Home in downtown Hillsville, VA. The Center includes intimate indoor space for exhibits, performances and classes featuring local artists, craftspeople, musicians and other innovative experience creators. Non-performance based exhibits will usually change every three months. Also available are outdoor spaces such as large wrap-around porches, community installed pollinator gardens, and nearby outdoor stages.

Get Involved

The space is currently being prepared for a multimedia exhibit in late autumn 2021. Meanwhile, we are still able to provide exhibit, performance, teaching and learning experiences. If you have work you would like to share with the community while we are getting ready, we welcome you to contact us.

Volunteering behind the scenes is a wonderful way to be interactive with others in our community. No art experience is necessary. We have a current need for volunteers to help get exhibit and teaching rooms ready for upcoming shows and classes.

Are you interested in being involved?

Please feel free to contact Jae at CarrollCreativeArts@gmail.com to discuss possibilities.
